If a cat becomes unwell

Lois will assess the cat, provide appropriate first aid within her training, use the quarantine facilities where infection is suspected and contact the owner or emergency contact as soon as possible. Where appropriate, the cat’s usual veterinary practice will be contacted first. Urgent treatment will not be delayed if an owner cannot be reached and veterinary consent has been provided.
